Improvisation to Choreography

Instructor: Jimena Paz
“We must not see any person as an abstraction. Instead, we must see in every person a universe with its own secrets, with its own treasures, with its own sources of anguish, and with some measure of triumph.”  –Elie Wiesel

We worked on 30 min scores. Retraced lineage trees. Explored the biographical as fictional. Reflected on the body as an environment within an environment. And we exchanged ideas through feedback groups and individual meetings. What you see here is independent, personally driven research done in the last four weeks of our time together.
