Joy of Dance
This project examines the embodiment of joy in dance. It developed as I noticed an unshakable feeling of joy through movement, no matter the content of the work. It has become clearer to me that joy, unlike happiness, is not based on my circumstances, but rather it is rooted in a sense of contentment and freedom to express. The outcome of this process was an outdoor dance and music performance on Saturday, April 17th, 2021.
